I discovered Felicia’s last year from Joshua who strongly recommended this cafe. Nope! We didn’t go to Bacolod where this shop originated. You can actually have a taste of Bacolod’s finest in the City of Love, Iloilo. If you also heard about Calea, the two of them (Calea and Felicia’s) which originated from Bacolod produce cakes that are most sought-after by locals and tourists. Joshua also bought two whole cakes from Felicia’s last Christmas for my family in GenSan, and everyone was delighted because the sweet taste of Negros was delivered to our table.
Every time I go to Iloilo, I never miss the chance to drop by Felicia’s. Yesterday, we went there, eat two slices of mouth-watering cakes, and drink chocolate and cappuccino.
THE LOCATION | CITY GUIDE
The Iloilo branch has a European-inspired interior with warm and cozy ambiance.
Step inside, pick your table and sit down. With its elegant ambiance, you’ll be delighted to see the wall frames to the lighting. Whether you go there for a date or you’re with a big group, tables that suit your group size are available for you.
They have different flavored macaroons.
Have you picked your choice of cake already?
Don’t worry. There’s still more,
and more and more cakes to choose from!
They also have guilt-free Sansrival!
WHAT WE ORDERED:
I ordered a slice of Chocolate Hazelnut and a cup of Cappuccino. Joshua ordered a slice of Japanese Cake and a cup of Chocolate.
I love their cakes. The Chocolate Hazelnut is flavorful, moist and delicious. For the cappuccino, I found it very creamy. I love coffee, and I think the quality of their Espresso is not as good as that from Starbucks, etc. The cappuccino is made of 1/3 Espresso, and the rest is a combination of the foamed milk and hot milk. So, in making a cappuccino, it is best to invest in great quality Espresso, but still, it worked fine. 🙂
Good thing is the shop is not only limited to desserts. They also serve meals good for your hunger pangs! You can choose from the menu below. 🙂
All in all, I love Felicia’s. Try it for yourself and it could be your next favorite pastry shop. Don’t leave Iloilo without dropping by! 🙂
